Abstract:This article systematically expounds and analyzes the progress of related standardization centered on the national standard for the manufactured aggregate, focusing on the innovations and changes made by the standard in terms of the definition of manufactured sand, gradation of construction sand, adsorption, particle shape of fine and coarse aggregate. It reinforces the importance and correct understanding of gradation and adsorption for the manufactured sand quality. At the same time, from the perspective of application to modern concrete, it discusses the characteristics and principles of optimal gradation of fine aggregate, the characterization indicators of fine aggregate fineness, the test method of methylene blue value for manufactured sand, the concept of large cementitious materials, and other academic and technical issues. In order to provide scientific support for the control and engineering application of high-quality aggregate made of sand and gravel.
