Abstract:The effects of alkamine organic inhibitor on the corrosion behavior of stress loaded HRB400 steel in concrete simulated pore solution were studied. The potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were used to analyze the mechanism of the corrosion inhibition on stress loaded HRB400 steel by amino alcohol organic inhibitor. The results show that with the increase of loading stress, the corrosion of HRB400 steel bars is aggravated, but the alkamine organic inhibitor can act on the surface of stress loaded HRB400 steel bars, increase the thickness of the adsorption layer, and inhibit the chloride in the simulated concrete pore solution to the HRB400 matrix, thus it has the rust proof effect.
