Abstract:Based on the shrinkage tests of 10groups of PVA FRCC(polyvinyl alcohol fiber reinforced cementitious composite) specimens with different mixture proportion, the shrinkage behaviors of PVA FRCC materials under different fiber volume fraction, water binder ratio, sand binder ratio and curing environment were studied. The results show that the shrinkage of PVA FRCC is reduced by adding PVA fibers, but the effect is limited. The shrinkage of substrate decreases with the decrease of water binder ratio, the increase of sand binder ratio and the increase of ambient humidity. Combining the existing concrete shrinkage estimation models and the test results, a model for shrinkage estimation of PVA FRCC is proposed, the calculation values with the model formulas are in good agreement with the test values.
