Abstract:Five 3D printing reinforced masonry walls and three common block reinforced masonry walls were tested under central and eccentric loading. The failure mode, deformation, and bearing capacity of 3D printing reinforced masonry walls and common block reinforced masonry walls were compared and analyzed, providing theoretical and design basis for the feasibility on 3D printing reinforced masonry wall. Experimental results indicate that compared with common block reinforced masonry walls, the integrity of 3D printing reinforced masonry wall is better, the bearing capacity of 3D printing reinforced masonry wall is 2 times that of common block reinforced masonry wall under compression.
