Abstract:A charge coupled device camera(CCDC) system was used to capture the full range of stress strain relationship of high tensile strength parallel wire cables by 7 wires with 7 mm diameter with tensile strength of 1670MPa at different elevated temperature. Based on the high temperature test database, a series of reduction factors on proportional limit, elastic modules, nominal yield strength, rupture strength and functions of stress strain relationship at elevated temperature was obtained. The test results indicate that the stress strengthening stage and necking stage are clarified by the full range of stress strain relationship of high tensile strength parallel wire cables at elevated temperature, and the nominal yield strength under 2.00% strain applys to the high tensile strength parallel wire cables.
