Abstract:The influences of freeze thaw cycles and water cement ratio on mass loss ratio, dynamic elastic modulus, and impact elastic wave speed were observed. The reliability of measuring dynamic elastic modulus by impact echo method was investigated. Results show that the mass loss ratio and dynamic elastic modulus of concrete decrease gradually when number of freeze thaw cycle increases. The mass loss increases, dynamic elastic modulus and impact elastic wave speed decrease when the water cement ratio increases. The dynamic elastic modulus measured by impact echo method is consistent with that measured by resonance method in standard.
