Abstract:Self pulverized low calcium cement with γ C2S as the main mineral can significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions during the preparation and carbonation hardening process. In order to realize the large scale production of the cement, the preparation method of the new low calcium cement by industrial raw materials was discussed. The results indicate that in the cement system, limestone, sandstone and iron ore are used as cement raw materials,when the lime saturation coefficient(KH) is 067 and the silica modulus(SM) is 250450, the cement can be made with the cooling of furnace temperature at the sintering temperature of 13001400℃;mortar specimens with the size of 40mm×40mm×160mm are prepared with the cement, after carbonation of 8h, the flexural strength is 82MPa and the compressive strength is 516MPa. The flexural strength at 240d is 139MPa and the compressive strength can achieve 700MPa.
