Abstract:For want of research on the bonding behavior between glass fiber reinforced plastic(GFRP) bars and coral concrete, which affects the structural calculation and performance analysis, experimental study on the bond behavior between GFRP bars and coral concrete was carried out. The stress process and bond slip curve of GFRP bars and coral concrete were analyzed, and the influence of the relative thickness of cover layer, bond length, characteristics of the coral concrete and other factors on the bond strength were also analyzed. The results show that the bond strength of GFRP bars and coral concrete can meet the general engineering needs. The bond process, characteristics of bonded slip curve, bond mechanism and failure modes of GFRP bars and coral concrete are similar to those of GFRP bars and ordinary concrete. Among the influencing factors, the bond length, relative thickness of cover layer, the diameter and surface condition of GFRP bars have great influence on bond strength and failure modes.
