Abstract:The reactive powder concrete(RPC) cylinder samples(436×130mm) with five steel fiber volume contents(0%,03%,10%,17% and 24%) were researched by conventional triaxial test under five confining pressures(0,10,20,40,70MPa). According to the analysis of acquired data, confining pressure has obvious influence on the compressive strength, deformation and failure pattern of RPC. The effect of steel fiber volume content on the compressive strength, deformation and failure pattern of RPC under uniaxial condition was also obtained. When loading with constant confining pressure at 10,20,40,70MPa respectively, steel fiber volume content only has influence on the failure pattern, and has no apparent influence on the compressive strength and deformation. Compared the fitting result by using Mohr Coulomb criterion with Willam Warnke model, it shows that Willam Warnke model is more suitable to describe the compressive strength development of RPC.
