Abstract:Ion conductive mortar(ICM) was prepared by electrolyte solution instead of traditional conductive materials, such as steel fiber, cabon fiber, graphic, etc. The epoxy resin plays an important role in ensuring persistent and good electrical conductivity of ICM. Many factors affecting the ICMs electrical performance were studied by compared experiments. The experimental results show that the resistivity of ICM decreases with the increasing mass fraction of solution in a certain range; high mass fraction of ionic solution can reduce the efficiency of permeability of ICM, which is bad for its conductivity. Different kinds of solutes have different solubility so that the best conductivity of ICM corresponds to different solution mass fraction when using different ionic solution. Therefore, its necessary to integrate at the ambient temperature and solution type to determine the solubility before making ICM, eventually to select the appropriate mass fraction of solution. The electrodes of ICM should select the larger exchange current density, and take into account the reversibility of electrodes.
