Abstract:The relation of shear stress and plastic viscosity with shear rate of cement ground marble pastes were studied by a rotational viscometer(mode Rheolab QC). And the Herschel Bulkley model was introduced to fit the yield stress, consistency coefficient and rheological index of cement ground marble pastes, the thixotropy was characterized by thixotropic loop area. And the relevance of particle size distribution of cement ground marble pastes was analyzed using grey connection theory. The results show that with the increase of ground marble content, slurry fluidity of the cement ground marble pastes increases, and the degree of shear thinning decreases. The mass fraction of ground marble particles in the size ranging from 010μm has positive corelation with yield stress, apparent viscosity and thixotropy while if particles>10μm it has a negative corelation and 510μm is the key factor. The mass fraction of ground marble particles in the size >10μm has positive corelation with rheological index while if particle sizes are 010μm it has a negative corelation and particles in the sizes of 2050μm is the key factor.
