Aging mechanism and a model to predict the anti aging performance of asphalt pavement in the airport were proposed. Three kinds of asphalts were aged at four temperatures in a standard atmosphere for different periods, and high true performance grades(PG)were determined using a dynamic shear rheometer (DSR). It is found that high true PG of the three kinds of asphalts is increasing with the aging conditions. But the growth rates of high true PG of the three binders are different at the same aging condition. The predicted high true PG value matches well to the measured true PG value for both of unmodified and modified binders. Therefore, the high true PG can be used to evaluate the anti aging performance of asphalt pavement in the airport.
