Abstract:Electrical resistivity ratio of alkali activated slag concrete(AASC) at different depths was tested with a simple resistance testing set up. Drying shrinkage of AASC was determined by a dial gauge method. Mass loss was detected by mass method. The correlation between mass loss and drying shrinkage was established by linear regression fitting. The results show that linear correlation coefficient R2 between mass loss and drying shrinkage is greater than 0.8909, the slope of the fitted line is mainly impacted by water to binder ratio; the electrical resistivity ratio was super sensitive to mass loss, and a positive correlativity is found between them, therefore, the changes of drying shrinkage can be monitored by the electrical resistivity ratio in accordance to the above relationships.
