Abstract:Influence of sand water ratio, chloride content in sea water, water content and particle size of dredged marine sand(DMS) on chloride content of DMS was studied experimentally. The results show that the chloride content of DMS is linearly associated with the chloride content in sea water as well as the water content of DMS. The water content of the accumulated DMS reduces with the pile height until it reaches a height of 40cm. Moreover, the relationship between the multifactors (chloride content in sea water, water content and particle size of DMS) and the chloride content in DMS can be expressed as mathematical functions.
