Abstract:In order to investigate the stirrup stress strain relationship of confined concrete under artificial salt mist climate environment corrosion, 36 reinforced concrete prism specimens of size 150mm×150mm×450mm and stirrup characteristic value 0233, 0175, 0306, 0195, 0146, 0225, 0167, 0125, 0219, were applied in accelerated corrosion in the artificial salt mist for axial compression test. Stress strain full curves of concrete confined with corroded stirrups under the different concrete strengths, stirrup characteristic values, corrosive cracks of constraints were obtained. Results indicated that compared to the equation of concrete stress strain curve of concrete confined with corroded stirrups, curve is flat with increasing of corrosion time. Rising to the lower right deviation, peak stress is lower by linear and peak strain increases. Comparing with low concrete strength of specimen under the same corrosion time, the degrees of the peak stress decrease and peak strain increases in higher compressive strength.
