Abstract:The properties of self compacting concrete members added with different size aggregates and manufactured sand were studied. The result indicates that the workability of self compacting concrete prepared with different size aggregates and manufactured sand added can meet the filling requirement, the compressive strength and internal compactness of different members are favorable and can meet relavent requirement. Compared with manufactured sand self compacting concrete member incorporating normal size aggregate, the internal maximum temperature peak of self compacting concrete members added with extra large size and large size aggregates decreases by 1823℃ and the temperature peak delays 49h. However, the ultimate flexural load of self compacting concrete members added with extralarge size and large size aggregates is low, and the higher bending moment is, the more obvious size effect of large size aggregate is. The key effect of the factors on mechanical properties, especially bending and tension resistance of self compacting concrete members added with different size aggregates, are diameter, accumulation degree, distribution and interface bonding of extralarge size and large size aggregate.
