Based on the finite volume method(FVM) and finite element method(FEM), the three dimensional heat transfer and mechanical properties of the inorganic composite sintered shale hollow brick were calculated. And the influence of hole radiation, number of hole rows, thermal conductivities of insulation mortar and shale on the equivalent thermal conductivity of inorganic composite sintered shale hollow brick were investigated. Result shows: the effect of hole radiation on the equivalent thermal conductivity shouldnt been ignored;
