Abstract:AS 16 asphalt sands were radiated by simulated UV irradiation for 0,97,194,292,388,583h. The aged specimens were used to do uniaxial compressive creep test to get the curves of strain time and then get the fitted viscoelastic parameters. The proportion of a ratio of one compliance to total compliance were used to analyzed the viscoelastic properties of asphalt sands. The results show that with the increasing of UV aging time, the viscosity of the asphalt sand is lower and the elastic property is strong. The capabilities of instantaneous deformation and permanent deformation resistance are increased, low temperature crack resistance and fatigue resistance decreases.
