Abstract:The splitting strength and deformation properties of steel fiber high performance concrete with 0%4%(by volume) fiber content were analyzed. Results indicate that the yielding tensile deformation of concrete with 4 kinds of admixture is about 012mm. With the increase of steel fiber content, peak compressive(tensile) deformation increases, cracking resistance of fiber improve, concrete yielding and peak tensile strength increase and toughness of concrete before yield and peak stress enhance. The contribution of steel fiber content on peak tensile strength of concrete is significantly greater than yielding tensile strength. When the steel fiber content is more than 2%, it is difficult for the formation of excurrent cracking. After matrix cracking, steel fiber withstands tensile stress. The toughness of steel fiber reinforced concrete increases with increasing of steel fiber content.
