Abstract:Based on ASTM standard, chemical shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage of cement paste with addition of mineral admixtures that were homogeneously blended into the matrix by ultrasonic dispenser and using superplastizer as a dispersant were measured. Test results show that with fixed water binder ratio of 030, both chemical shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage of cement paste are significantly increased by increasing replacement ratio of silica fume(SF) or granulated blast furnace slag(GGBFS). It seems that the addition of metakaolin(MK) can increase the chemical shrinkage at late age while decrease the autogenous shrinkage of cement paste. Both high calcium fly ash(CFA) and low calcium fly ash(FFA) are beneficial to reduce both chemical shrinkage and autogenous shrinkage, but the effect of FFA is stronger than that of CFA.
