Abstract:Based on shear test of 45° shear angle for composite specimen, modified epoxy resin waterproof adhesive layer was designed and its performance was evaluated. Results indicate that modified epoxy resin content and interval time between the resin mix and the pave of asphalt mixture are the key factors to influence shear strength of modified epoxy resin waterproof adhesive layer. The content of modified epoxy resin should be not less than 0.6L/m2, the size of basalt aggregate is 1.183mm or 35mm, the coverage of basalt aggregate to surface of waterproof adhesive layer is 90%,and the interval time should be less than 12h at 24℃. Compared to other waterproof adhesive layer,modified epoxy resin waterproof adhesive layer has better high temperature performance, frost resistance,fatigue resistance,but higher price. It is recommended to be used for cement concrete bridge surface with many cracks.
