In order to accurately improve asphalt pavement strain response information monitored by FBG(fiber Bragg grating) sensing technology and provide effective technical means for asphalt pavement temperature field measurement, the calibration method of FBG temperature sensor used in asphalt pavement and the output characteristics were researched. The FBG temperature sensor was calibrated by water bath method before used. Through secondly calibrating FBG temperature sensor embedded in the composite plate specimen shaped by rolling, the influence of asphalt pavement compaction technology on calibration results of FBG temperature sensor was analyzed. The composite plate specimen was rolled by rutting test apparatus in order to simulate and analyze the influence of loading on output results of FBG temperature sensors. The results show that two polynomial fitting can meet the qualified standard of less than ±0.5℃, and fits the calibration model of FBG temperature sensor. Calibration results of temperature sensor tested in 12h after molding of the composite plate specimen has big difference from the test results of water bath. But the difference of results tested after 2 d is smaller than before. Loading will affect the output information of FBG temperature sensors. But the accuracy of the information can still be guaranteed.
