Abstract:Acceleration meters were used to test the vibration acceleration changing with time of the concrete and cement and emulsified asphalt mortar(CA mortar) samples as well as the steel board under the sample. The anti impacting property of concrete and CA mortar were tested by a drop hammer method. The results show that the vibration acceleration have no distinct attenuation when the concrete was impacted and the vibration time was long. The vibration of steel board under the concrete had the same behavior, however, the vibration acceleration of CA mortar after impact had three distinct attenuation periods and vibration time was shorter than that of concrete. The same is true of the steel board under the CA mortar. Comparing to the concrete, CA mortar has better property of adsorption and separation capacity of vibration. The anti impacting property of CA mortar is also better than that of concrete.
