Abstract:Using beam specimens(240mm×150mm×1200mm) the influence of the salt frost cycles on the steel concrete bonding strength, bonding stiffness, initial slippage, ultimate slippage, the failure pattern and other indexes was investigated through 0, 50, 75, 100 fast freeze thaw cycles tests, then the bond slip constitutive equation after the salt frosting action was fitted by least square method. The test results show that with the increase of freezing and thawing cycles, the initial slip strength and the ultimate bonding strength tend to degenerate, and the former amplitude reduction is more significant. The more the times of the freezing and thawing cycles, the greater slippage at the same bond stresses, the lower bonding stiffness, the faster slip growth. Stirrups can effectively inhibit and delay the deterioration degree of the bond property between the longitudinal steel and the concrete under the freeze thaw environment.
