Abstract:Based on the static compression test, the dynamic mechanical behavior of polyurethane foam materials(PFM) with different strain rate was systematically studied on the universal material test machine of INSTRON 1185. The dynamic mechanical properties of PFM were analyzed based on the test results. The complete dynamic stress strain curves of PFM under high strain rate were obtained, the dynamic mechanical behavior of PFM was qualitatively analyzed, and the relationship between dynamic mechanical behavior and the strain rate were systematically studied. Then the dynamic constitutive equation considering the strain rate effect of PFM were obtained and the relationship between the static mechanical parameters and the dynamic mechanical parameters were also obtained, which provides a reference standard for the design.
