Abstract:Based on heavy traffic and modern testing technology development, the resilient modulus and Poisson ratio were measured through material test system(MTS) circumferential extensometer measurement. The impact of change of resilient modulus and Poisson ratio on tensile stress and shear stress of a given pavement structure was calculated through BISAR programme. The results show that the resilient modulus and Poisson ratio of cement-stabilized macadam increase with load, but the change of two design parameters has insignificant impact on tensile stress and shear stress. However, overloading has significant adverse impact on the stresses.
