In order to investigate the pavement performance of fiber(Forta AR fiber and polyester fiber) reinforced asphalt mixture, water stability test,rut test,flexural test and flexural fatigue test were carried out.Environmental scanning electron microscope was also used to observe the changes of fibers in asphalt mixture,and to clarify the mechanism of the fiber reinforced asphalt mixture.The research indicates that both fibers are able to improve the pavement performance of asphalt mixture.
