The mechanical properties of self-compacting reactive powder concrete(RPC) specimens with different volume fractions of steel fiber, polypropylene fiber were investigated.Test results show that steel fiber can have an appreciable increase in compressive strength and flexural strength, especially in flexural strength and the maximum increases of 7 d and 28 d flexural strength are 95% and 73% respectively.Addition of polypropylene fiber can increase 7 d flexural strength that can be increased by 13% mostly, but has adverse effect on compressive strength and 28 d flexural strength. The 7 d flexural strength of specimen with hybrid fiber can be increased by 82% mostly. The ratio of compressive to flexural strength of self-compacting RPC can be decreased and the deflection at maximum loads and breaks of self-compacting RPC can be increased whatever kind of fiber is added.
