Abstract:The influence of two cellulose ethers on mortar performance was investigated. The results indicate that the cellulose ethers can improve water retention, reduce consistency of fresh mortar,and reduce flexural and compressive strength,but the flexural/compressive strength ratio and bonding strength are improved to some extent.So it can be used to improve the construction performance of mortar.
