The electrical resistivity development and the compressive strength of different cement pastes were tested. The results show that the electrical resistivity curves were different between the different cement grades with the same ratio of water-cement.The electrical resistivity of paste with the high grade cement is lower than that of the low grade cement paste at early period;however,it exceeds the other at the later period.A power function equation is fitted between electrical resistivity at 1 d and m_w/m_c for the same cement.A linear relation is established between the compressive strength at 2 d and the electrical resistivity at 1 d,and a logarithmic relation is established between the compressive strength at 7 d or 28 d and the electrical resistivity at 1 d.
