Abstract:The influences of slag, fly ash and zeolite powders on anti-permeability of water and chloride ions of alite-barium calcium sulphoaluminate cement mortars were investigated in detail. The composition and morphology of the hydrates in the cement mortars cured for 28 days were analysed by XRD and SEM and the pore structure of the mortars was measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry. The results show that the anti-permeability of water or of chloride ions of the cement mortar could be significantly improved by adding the admixtures. The effect of the admixtures to improve anti-permeability of water is different, that is,the slag has the best effect, fly ash has better and zeolite powder has good effect. And the effect to improve anti-permeability of chloride ion is also different, that is,the slag has the best, zeolite powder has better and fly ash has good effect.
