Abstract:The heat transfer behavior of low emissivity glass is strongly influenced by the wave length of radiation,so a model of single low emissivity glass is needed to represent it.This paper focuses on heat transfer of the single low emissivity glass, and spectrum model is used to obtain nonlinear equations which can represent the procedure in combination with the glass properties of transmissivity and reflectivity. The equations is solved using Newton method and considering the boundary conditions including convection, radiation of the sun, outside and inside of the room. The results show that it is appropriate to place the film of the single low emissivity glass at interior side. The model also shows the effects of glass thickness, indoor temperature and outdoor wind speed on the heat transfer of the glass.
