Effects of high-frequency vibration on air void parameters of air-entrained concrete with four different types of air entraining agents(AEA) were studied. The findings indicate that air content in concrete decreases greatly after high-frequency vibration.Appropriate high-frequency vibration could improve air void structure of hardened concrete, whereas excessive high-frequency vibration for concrete with poor quality AEAs would not favor improvement of air void parameters.Concretes with different AEAs yield quite different air void structures after high-frequency vibration.Air void spacing factor decreases remarkably due to high-frequency vibration and a lot of tiny air voids is entrained in hardened concrete with good quality AEAs.
