Abstract:The specific surface area and pore structure of cement mortar with cracks after electrodeposition were examined by COULTER SA3100 surface area and pore size analyzer.Results show that: for ZnSO_4 electrolyte solution treated sample at 5 mm away from the electrodeposited surface and the MgSO_4 electrolyte solution treated sample at 5 mm or 20 mm away from the electrodeposited surface the following aspects,such as total pore volume,pore volume in different diameter range and BET surface area,decrease after electrodeposition,but the properies almost remain the same at the other position.The volume of the pores with the diameter larger than 20 nm(they are located at 5 mm away from the electrodeposited surface in the ZnSO_4 electrolyte solution) is most reduced.The total pore volume and BET surface area reach the biggest decrease when the samples are taken 5 mm away from the electrodeposited surface in the MgSO_4 electrolyte solution.
