Abstract:The development of fire-resistant steel in the world is reviewed.Property requirements and alloying principle of fire-resistant steel,the investigation of process,microstructure and properties,the commercial trial-production and applications in the world are described.These provide useful reference to research and applications of fire-resistant steel in our country.
