Foamed glass is a kind of eco-friendly material with multi-porous structure,which is developed from foamed waste glass.Foamed glass has many benefits including lightweight,high strength,mixing easily with structural materials and economy.Foamed glass can be utilized as thermal insulation material,sound-absorbing material,lightweight fill material,lightweight concrete aggregate material and water holding material for greening in many fields.Some problems that need to be addressed in the future were also presented.
