The definition of helical and twisted reinforcement material,its shape and main feature are presented in this paper.The studies on mechanical property and bond stress of helical and twisted reinforcement material are reviewed. Furthermore,the essence of excellence property of helical and twisted reinforcement material and the sense of study on helical-effect is discussed,and good future of the application of "helical shape" idea on other material design field is analized.
