Abstract:The composition of sewage and its metabolite produced by microorganism are briefly described at first,and then the present status and progress of mechanism study of microbial corrosion of concrete are introduced.The main research fields,experiment design methods and test methods related to microbiology are discussed.Finally the urgency of activating national study on microbial corrosion of concrete is emphasized.
