Abstract:A kind of super-thin intumescent fire retardant coating for steel structure was prepared,with high performance high chlorinated polyethylene(HHCPE) and polyacrylate resin or amino resin as binder,PE and melamine phosphate as fire retardant system.The influence of the types of the resins,content and their complex on the properties of fire retardant coatings were studied.
