Abstract:The study of chloride permeability in concrete is a main aspect of the durability of concrete and many factors affect the chloride concentration profiles in concrete and diffusion coefficient. A series of concrete specimens was exposed in a loaded state in a container filled with 3.5% sodium chloride solutions for 30,70,120,200 days, and the effect of flexural loading was estimated from chloride ingress level. The results show that the effect of the flexural load increases the permeasion of chlorides into concrete. There is also a relationship between D(t) and the loading level.
