Abstract:The chloride ingression in concrete was investigated from some factors, such as exposure time, chloride binding, surrounding temperature, stress and crack condition. The results show that the apparent diffusion coefficient D_a of chloride in croncrete is attenuated with the prolong of exposure time in corrosion environment, and the attenuation degree of D_a is affected by mineral additions. It is larger for concrete added mineral additions than that for concrete made with pure Portland cement. The ability of binding chloride for mineral additions is larger than that for Portland cement. The speed of ingression of chloride in concrete increases with the increase of surrounding temperature. And the stress and crack condition can also affect the chloride ingression in concrete. The cracks will promote the chloride ingression in concrete.
