Abstract:Based on the measuring results of expansive deformation of self-stressing concrete reinforced with various ratios of reinforcement as well as steel fiber volume fractions at the ages from 1 day to 28 days, the different phases of expansive deformation with the age were investigated. The combined effects of steel bars and steel fiber are analyzed and the exponential relation between steel ratios of reinforcement and the restrained expansive deformation is proposed. Further, according to the relation between expansion and steel reinforcing ratios, the model for steel fiber reinforced self-stressing concrete restrained by steel bars is suggested.
