Abstract:The topological structure of the response of AC impedance of the hydration process of cement in the induction, acceleratory and deceleratory periods was discussed. In these periods of cement hydration there exist two parallel steps in which only one is rate determining. In the induction period, that step is represented by the inductance in equivalent circuit while that step in the acceleratory period is described by negative capacitance. In the deceleratory period, the negative capacitance turns to be positive.
