The impacts of expansile fire retardant on carbonating and expanding performances of polyacylamide colloid were studied. The impact of fire retardant content on the fireproof performance of colloid was also included. It resulted that fire retardant improves the expansibility of colloid and decreases the crazing possibility of back fire glass in glass frame. But too much fire retardant will bring bad influence on the fireproof durability.
