The small area chemical composition quantitative analysis of high performance slag cementitious materials was studied using XPS. The results showed the hydration products include a lot of calcium aluminosilicate gels (the mass ratio of CaO/SiO 2 is close to 1) and a little Na 2O,MgO compositions.
