In part one of the paper, it has reviewed the chemical effects in the solid substances under the action of mechanical forces. The processes and mechanisms of mechanochemical effects are reviewed in detail in this part. The advantages and disadvantages of mechanochemical effects in the application are also discussed. The methods of characterization and evaluation of the effects are brieflypresented as well.
