Abstract:The tensile strength and elastic modulus of glass fiber reinforced plastic(GFRP), which was made by different layers of glass fiber fabric, were tested and analyzed. The results showed that the fabric layer numbers have some influences on the tensile properties of GFRP, especially, in the case of fabric layer numbers less than 5. So, it is essential that calculating the effect of fabric layer numbers on the tensile properties of GFRP when designing thin wall GFRP products(including honeycomb core, waviness core,etc.).
