| The amplitude of the first pulse, the waveform and frequency of the received pulse, and other ultrasound parameters were used to detect the bond defect between concrete slab and its finishing mortar, and to determine the size and extent of the defect. The principles and methods with ultrasonic technique to detect defect are described by some project examples. Also, the characters of using this technique to test the bond quality of mortar layer are described. |
